MIDF's Development Finance Division (DFD) organised a briefing over Zoom on 28 February 2022 for Anchor Companies and vendors under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives' (MEDAC) Vendor Development Programme on the Geran Inovasi & Pengkomersialan Vendor (GIPV). The grant is for up to RM1 million and is offered to Bumiputera Vendors registered with Anchor Companies under MEDAC's Vendor Development Programme.
Over 150 participants joined the briefing which was organised to brief Anchor Companies and vendors on information on the grant, how to apply for it and how MIDF can help these companies and vendors with their applications. Participants were welcomed by En. Azizi Hj Mustafa, Head of DFD which was followed by an opening speech by Pn. Azrilah Abd Aziz, Timbalan Setiausaha Bahagian, Seksyen Pembangunan Vendor of MEDAC.
Presenters included En. Azahah Aris, MD of Fulle Technik Sdn Bhd who shared his experience and journey in applying for the grant followed by a presentation by Pn. Zunita Zubir, AVP, Central Region, Sales on details of the GIPV.Webinars and briefings such as these, solely or in partnership with other associations or government agencies have been part of MIDF's continuous effort to stay connected to our clients and keeping them updated on the various assistance available to them especially during these challenging times. These programmes have also given us the opportunity to reach out to other small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to let them know that we can help with their businesses.
