MIDF offers Second Chance Financing

MIDF has been appointed as the implementation agency of the Second Chance Financing (2CF) by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). The scheme is aimed at providing businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with access to financing assistance, advisory services and business guidance, enabling them to overcome those challenges while fueling growth, capitalise on new opportunities and contribute to the overall economic development of the country. MIDF SME Second Chance FinancingIn an event on 16 June 2023, the scheme was launched by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, witnessed by distinguished guests from the ministry, as well as representatives from Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysia Automotive Robtics and IoT Institute (MARii), Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank), National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia), Majlis Rekabentuk Malaysia (MRM), Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), InvestKL, Halal Development Corporation (HDC) and Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK).
