PA Food is a family-owned Malaysian company specialising in frozen foods and pastries. Since 1985, we have passionately shared Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage through products ranging from flatbreads to dim sum, all crafted with care at our state-of-the-art facility in Kajang, Malaysia.

Lack of access to financing has typically been the challenge for local SMEs to thrive. Recognising that issue, MIDF introduced Soft Financing Scheme for Automation & Modernisation (SFSAM) which aims to assist companies in manufacturing and related industries modernise and automate their operations through a special stimulus package.

One company that has leveraged through SFSAM would be PA Food Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Pau Ahmad) that was established in 1985 by founder Mr. Ding Hong Sing.

From the confines of his kitchen, Mr. Ding’s passion and dedication birthed PA Food, a family-owned Malaysian company specialising in frozen foods as well as pastries and Malaysia’s pioneering halal pau maker.

With crucial support from MIDF and the government, combined with strategic rebranding and technological advancements, Mr. Ding’s enterprise expanded beyond borders. By 1988, PA Food had reached Singapore, and today it spans over 20 countries, including Australia, Japan, and the Middle East.

To succeed, you must focus on strong branding, diligent effort, and fair pricing. Maintaining high product quality is crucial. Beyond branding, it's essential to ensure that our products are always healthy for consumers.
